Last december we had a short trip to visit the most famous ancient site that is Angkor Wat. Wahhhh.....!!!So excited about the plan, we stayed in one of the hotels considered cheap and it's around $60US plus breakfast for two. Hehehe....left my children with the aunty since they want to enjoy school holiday in 'Kampung' with Opah. The weather was nice, cool in the morning but towards mid afternoon it's quite hot. That is the best time to visit Siem Reap according to my hubby's friend who have been staying there for 14 years.
On the first day we went to see the sunset at Bakheng. It was a beautiful sunset at the top of the hill. We have to rush coz they closed the site around 6pm.We managed to snap a few photos. Here are some of it.
This is Kompong Phluk, the biggest water village in Cambodia situated at Tonle Sap river. The lake was as big as the sea. Besar sekali!
