My 2 Little Angel......Maya and Mikail



Berita sedih lagi......

Lewat malam tadi dapat berita dari laman fb bekas rakan sekerja meninggal dunia akibat kemalangan di Cameron Highland. Al Fatihah dan takziah untuk keluarga beliau. Dah 2 berita kematian di terima bulan ni, apakan daya Allah lebih sayangkan mereka. Moga roh mereka tenang di sana.

Brownie


Hari ni rasa macam nak buat Brownie coz my daughter maya love brownie so much. So belek punya belek dalam fridge ada telur and chocolate couverture and butter...wahhh!! Ni dah boleh buat dah ni. Apa lagi terus lah meltkan butter and chocolate tadi dan bancuhkan dgn tepung and telur bersama sedikit vanilla. Rasa mcm nak letak walnut sikit, tu yang buat sedap tu. Buat brownie rupa2nya senang je, dulu ingatkan susah sangat nak buat brownie tapi bila dah tahu, rahsianya senang je. Apa lagi Maya enjoying her brownie lah!! Kalau anda nak kan resepinya boleh je saya bagi. Email je pada saya atau pm saya di fb, gerenti saya beri, saya tak kedekut ilmu cuma blog ni bukan macam blog lain, ni cuma untuk suka2 je. Ada setengah blog tu dia akan sertakan resepinya sekali tapi yang ini tidak.Seperti yang di beritahu tadi blog ni cuma untuk suka2 saja tapi kalau nak kan resepi saya akan emailkan. Tapi memandangkan ramai kawan-kawan yang nakkan resepi ok lah, I letak Terus dalam blog ni.


Ingredients:
375 g soft unsalted butter
375 g best quality dark chocolate
6 large eggs
1 tablespoon vanilla extract
500 g caster sugar
225 g plain flour
1 teaspoon salt
300 g chopped walnuts

Directions:
1 Preheat the oven to 180°C.
2 Line your approximatley 33 x 23 x 5 1/2cm brownie pan with foil or baking paper.
3 Melt the butter and chocolate together in a large heavy based saucepan.
4 In a bowl beat the eggs with the sugar and vanilla.
5 Measure the flour into another bowl and add the salt.
6 When the chocolate mixture has melted, let it cool a bit before beating in the eggs and sugar mixture, and then the nuts and flour.
7 Beat to combine and then scrape out of the saucepan into the lined brownie pan.
8 Bake for about 25 minutes.
9 When its's ready, the top should be dried to a paler brown speckle, but the middle still dark and dense and gooey. 10 Keep checking the brownies as they cook; remember that they will continue to cook as they cool.

Perginya seorang rakan......

Sedang sibuk dengan fb tadi terpandang notification hari ni ialah hari jadi seorang rakan yang telah meninggal dunia akibat lemas apabila kapal miliknya karam di laut semasa memancing di Abu Dhabi. Teringatkan keletah semasa belajar di ITM dulu, memang dia seorang yang periang serta peramah. Walaupun di aliran yang berlainan tapi beliau tetap mesra dengan rakan2 yang lain. Moga rohnya aman di sana dan dilindungi Allah. Al Fatihah.........

Delicious Milk Bread

Ingredient

230g ............................... All purpose flour
60g ................................. Bread flour
125g ................................ Whole milk
4g .................................... Instant yeast
50g ................................. Egg (about 1)
38g ................................. Sugar
5g ................................... Salt
63g ................................. Unsalted butter
........................................ Pearl sugar, for sprinkle at the top


Mix the milk and yeast together, set aside.
Put the bread flour and sugar in a bowl, whisk to combine, add the salt whisk again. Pour the liquids mixture and egg into the bowl.
Use large spoon (or pastry scraper) to mix everything together, and knead briefly to bring all the ingredients together.
Take the dough out of the bowl and knead.
Knead by using the heel of your hands to compress and push the dough away from you, then fold it back over itself (see the picture here). Until all the dough are moisten.
Add the soften butter, give the dough a little turn and repeat. Put the weight of your body into the motion and get into a rhythm. Keep folding over and compressing the dough.
Knead for 10-15 minutes or until the dough is soft, pliable, smooth and slightly shiny, almost satiny, the dough will stop sticking to your hand.
Cover the bowl with a tea towel or cover with the plastic bag and leave the dough to prove for about 30 minutes.
Preheat the oven to 210°C
Gently press down the dough and cut the dough into 10 pieces, let the dough rest for 15 minutes. Use a rolling pin to roll the dough into a circle, about 8 cm. Fold the dough and roll into a small batard.
Cover the shaped dough; let rise until almost doubled in volume, about 30-40 minutes. Before baking, brush the dough with egg wash and use a scissor to cut the top of the dough. Sprinkle the pearl sugar on top.
Bake for 10-12 minutes, or until the bread is golden.







Cuti.....today?

I'm not working today sebab maid terpaksa renew passportnya. So first thing today is to prepare breakfast untuk budak-budak.Hmmmmmmmm.....apa ada dalam kepala sekarang is to bake Pain Au Lait or Delicious Milk Bread. Roti ni memang sedap, lebih2 lagi makan sambil minum kopi pagi2 ni.....nyamannya sambil menikmati kesibukan pagi orang2 yang terpaksa pergi kerja ni...muahahahahaha..untung lah hari ni tak kerja.
